MAD and Dustinland
I am an official member of The Usual Gang Of Idiots. That’s MAD’s way of saying I have been published in MAD Magazine. I also have a weekly webcomic that’s been running since 2000, has received a few million hits and been on the front page of Reddit multiple times. I also illustrated an official music video for singer songwriter Will Oldham. Basically, I’m a tiny bit Internet famous.
These are a few of the issues my comics have appeared in. Top left is one of mine. I was also honored to have my work included in Totally MAD, a 60th anniversary coffee table book covering the best of the magazine’s storied history.

My comic site has received over 5,600,000 page views by over 2.5 million people around the world. Here you see my most “famous” strip, which was the No. 1 Google image search result for “hipster” for about two years.

BBDO likes my hipster comic. Hi, BBDO.

I recently self-published a book celebrating 20 years of my comic.
Yes, I even made an app. Not a huge revenue generator but it was a lot of fun.

My comics have been featured on the front page of Reddit, and published or picked up by Buzzfeed, Gothamist, Cracked.com, Brooklyn Vegan and many others.

I used to freelance as a cartoonist and writer for MTV. My favorite bit was "Tweet of The Week," where I would illustrate and interpret rockstars' tweets. There’s nothing like waking up to find out you were retweeted by Questlove from The Roots or Dave Navarro from Jane’s Addiction.

This cartoon was pretty popular.

I worked with my old partner and an MTV writer to create the official music video for critically acclaimed indie singer-songwriter Will Oldham (he’s the other bearded guy in the Kanye video Zach Galifianakis stars in). The animation is admittedly pretty low budget, but it’s a great story and super depressing. Pitchfork liked it.
